Melanie will be presenting her constellation drawings at the February Spacetaker Speakeasy.

This visual presentation will illustrate a unique project – redrawing the constellations for the upcoming release of  Starlight Software V.2.  In this presentation, Melanie will discuss her process for making the drawings and the restrictions she has had to deal with.  There will be examples of historical drawings, explanations how her work departs from the star maps of the past, and stories about one artist’s journey to meet the sky.
